Skolfield Shores Preserve

The Skolfield Shores Preserve is in back of the large complex of an historic old farmhouse on the town line between Brunswick and Harpswell. This area is the site of an old Abenaki carrying place between Middle Bay Cove and Harpswell Cove. I walked this area for the first time this afternoon. I enjoyed the marshes and the very old and large pine trees.

  1. I really appreciate your ability to find beauty in the nature we find all around us, but most, like me, aren’t ever composed enough to enjoy its richness.
